How to Install python-ply software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-ply software package provides Lex and Yacc implementation for Python2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-ply

python-ply is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-ply package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-ply *

You will get with python-ply package name, version, architecture and description in a table
